Since You've Been Gone...

March 28, 2007

Since I last wrote...
I've been to Squaw Valley California, site of the 1960 Winter Olympics...

Played with my niece and nephew in Suisun City, CA (between Oakland and Sacramento)...
Watched many wrestling matches, many which were wins like this one for Sam...

Went tubing in Pennsylvania...I am the abominable snow-woman on the far left-not my best photo ever, but it was a fun day with my fellow old ladies from church (except for Daelyn-she is only 33!) I am so blessed with good women to hang out with-it astounds me the quality of the sister-pals I get to rub shoulders with.

Thrilled to recieve a disc with 250 photos of Jeff's mission so far...Oh my goodness is he having a great experience. Here he is in the San Blas Islands with a young Kuna friend. I love this photo.

Spent lots of time in Photoshop and Illustrator making Memory Book pages...

and last, but certainly not all, did a photo-shoot for my dear old friend (we've known each other since 1981 I think)...

So today I begin to understand why I've moved away from blogging. Since last night when I was inspired to begin again, I've been at the computer for over of 3 hours, editing, uploading photos, playing around, reading my friends blogs, etc. Whew! I stayed up till 1:30 am, got up late for seminary and now I'm back at it. I am not saying it hasn't been time well spent, because it has, but I will have to pace myself. The memory book took a lot of time that I would have spent doing other things, including keeping up with my blog. I have also been designing and knitting furiously. I have two new designs almost ready for publication, which I feel good about, too. So, sorry to those who look for new things. If you've come back after giving up on me, I hope you'll understand.
