Memory Game

July 18, 2008

I got this from Everybody! Play!!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

  1. My favorite memory of you is at Jenni's surprise party. I really got to know you well then. I realized what a fun person you are and how we have more in common than I thought. And of course, singing karoke at Christina's -- we really should go on tour. I look forward to being at many more parties with you :)

  2. Kelly where do I start. I would say, I agree with you, the night where I came over to knit was the night where I got to know you for reals, but I watched from a far before that. I admire you so much, it is always a "kelly comment" in RS that calms the storm if there are any "controversial" comments. You are so literate that I had to look up in my dictionary one of the words that you used to comment on my blog. :-) LOL! You always seem to weather storms with such grace. You're sweet and kind and so fun to play with. That night at christinas, I saw a Kelly that I never knew existed. We have a lot in common, I always enjoy our chats. Thank you for being an example to me.

  3. Kellie I first got to know you through the recipe swap and I'm so glad I did!!! (Your tetrazzini recipe is a serious staple at our house!!) But my favorite memory is definitely the Q&A giant journaling night!! (I think it was at Christie's house if I remember right.) It was so fun to hear your responses to all the questions and I felt like that night I really got to know you! I remember it as a night of giggles and happiness!! Being your friend is an absolute pleasure Kellie and I totally want to be just like you!!!;)

  4. Ok, so you were my very first visiting teaching companion and oh how I loved getting advice from you and swapping stories. I still remember finding out you were a U2 fan and being so excited about it! I also remember hanging out with you at the Cooper's new member party. And several new member parties since, actually!! But that was when I was the new member. How fun.

  5. my memory is the same one as yours. :) I liked reading your thoughts on the Nook, then Heather clued me in to your blog and I was so excited to meet you in person (and learn how to knit! you made it easy). It's so lovely to find a friend like you! I felt an instant bond, that kindred spirit click. I love how my children gravitated to you like lost puppies. Almost more vivid in my mind was our parting in Beltsville. It was one of the stronger emotional goodbyes of that week and it caught me by surprise too. I'm so happy it wasn't the last and that we had that fun visit earlier this year. It made the miles seem much less. Thank you my friend!

  6. How to choose, how to choose! I was sitting here trying to think back to where we first met and them BOOM, Girls Camp 4th year hike. You were so imtimidating with your gear and cute hiking clothes. Your husband kept everyone laughing on the trail. I thought to myslef, "self, you need to be more like Kellie Nuss." Then the second year. I was no longer intimidated, and the fact that you could quote soem of my favorite movies, "Trudging, To trudge.....".
