The Fam, 2008
August 14, 2008
Here is the best shot I could get in 20 minutes with a camera-shy family, a self-timer shot while I'm wearing a dress and trying to set the tripod up to get a cool angle without lying on the ground and my family asking after every adjustment if that was the end. Not bad for less than optimal artistic conditions.
Here is our last family picture, from almost 4 years ago. It is fun to see how everyone has changed. Yes, I said 4 years. That is about how often I can rope them in front of the camera. Sigh.

Oh Kellie, you have an absolutely beautiful family! Great picture. Got me thinking... since the baby is 9 months old tomorrow, it might be a nice thing to have a more recent family picture than the day after he was born... :)
ReplyDeleteI think it is a beautiful picture Kellie!! Great job!! I especially love the angle!:)
ReplyDeleteThat is a good shot! Especially knowing that is was self-timer! I like that in four years your only male smiler is still Jeff:)
ReplyDeleteIt really is a great picture. You'd never know they were complaining about it. But you need to do it more often than every four years! Gorgeous family!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture!!! I'm going to wait about 3 years for my next family picture, just for my own sake . . .
ReplyDeleteWhoa! You weren't kidding about the change! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture
ReplyDeleteIt is a fabulous family picture. I love the angle of the camera, and I like the lines of the family. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful family, Beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great picture--I love how the hights are stagged to create such a nice line.
ReplyDeleteOh oh oh!!! I LOVE THE TEMPLE ONE!! I want one like that of my family when my kids are all big and beautiful like that. I don't think they'd cooperate right now :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job. Only a true photographer can do a great family portrait with herself in it! Nice work.
ReplyDeleteLove your newest picture! I realized the other day when I was hanging pictures that I don't even have a "real" family picture with Leah in it and she just turned two!
ReplyDeletenicely done. Eva wanted to see it too so I quizzed her on who everyone was. Tell Sara that her new nickname is "Sarina" (i think that's a diminutive/endearing form of Sarah in Evalyn-ese).
