Outage

Here we are, nearly 48 hours into our power outage adventure. I won't go into detail while typing with my thumbs on my phone, but right now, the temperature has plummeted to the mid-eighties, we had some lovely dessert at a friend's air-conditioned home, and it's not such a horrible thing to be all gathered in the living room, reading our books by the small glows of various lamps and flashlights. The slightest of breezes just blew through, and I'll choose to be grateful for a little quiet time together.
